Facility Introduction
Kibougaoka Cultural Park is a rich, multipurpose cultural park measuring 4 kilometers (east to west) by 1 kilometer (north to south). With a total area of 416 hectares, it sports a range of facilities across its Culture, Outdoor Activity, and Sports Zones.
Taken together, these zones support an incredible variety of uses by people of all ages and abilities and allow for unique nature experiences. This is perhaps the greatest feature of Kibougaoka Cultural Park.
Sports Zone
The Sports Zone features recreation areas for people of all ages, including an open lawn (Shibafu Land), a track, tennis courts, a ground golf course, and various other athletic fields. This zone is often a site for school field trips, sports festivals, and corporate-run health and wellbeing events.
Outdoor Activity Zone
The Outdoor Activity Zone features camping facilities that promote healthy physical and mental development through nature exploration and outdoor activities. This zone is often used for school functions, children’s events, family camping, and day camping.
Culture Zone
Seinen no Shiro is a combination youth-lodge and multipurpose educational facility. Through communal living, it aims to foster well-rounded character growth, social skills, and interpersonal understanding in children. It is often used for school orientations, sports camps, and corporate training events.
